What is Family? When I think about family I think about my kids, mom, sister, step dad, wife, grandparents and cousins. But, is that the only family? What about groups of people that would do anything for you or you would do anything for them? 7 years ago when I first attended the John Fisher Breakfast Club I felt like I was invited into a family and over those 7 years I have watched amazing things happen. My business grew, my knowledge and my sphere of influence expanded, I had another family. Last year when John passed away, the community rose up and supported his family, the Breakfast Club family. They came together this winter and raised $35k for John’s Legacy fund. We talk about John at every Breakfast he will live on in our memories and we will continue to follow his example of how to do business and family the right way.


Short Term Rentals in Denver Law goes in to effectDenver City Council passed a bill that only allows permanent resident houses to allow short term rentals like Air B&B and VRBO. The law says you must register, pay a fee and pay taxes to the city. What this means for investors like us? We aren’t allowed to rent our investment properties out on a short term basis. The latest Mortgage Rates: 30 Year fixed at 3.37% and 5/1 ARMS at 2.66%. Expect investor (non-owner occ) rates to run about ½ point higher on non-owner occ loans. (These are AOL/ reported average rates as of Thursday)
