Wow, Colorado!

U.S. News & World Report came out with its 2018 Best Places to Live rankings. Colorado claims the #2 and #3 slots with Colorado Springs and Denver, respectively. It is rankings like this one that are drawing people to Colorado from all over the country. It’s hard to hide the fact that this is a great place to live! It may not help our traffic problems, but it sure is great for our real estate investments.

When houses were on sale

The number of single family homes that were converted into rental properties since 2007 grew by 37%. That’s 2% more than new apartments that were built during the same time period. After the housing crisis, smart investors snatched up single family homes and put them up for rent. Since then, rents have gone up and up. The deals are harder to find, but there are still great cash flowing properties out there. After all, Denver is the #3 best place to live!
