The 4th of July is a great time to reflect on the many blessing we have in America, and the fact that we have them because of the sacrifices of generations past. Freedom is a birthright in this country and we get to choose what to do with it. For those who choose, a better life awaits. All you have to do is whatever it takes.

Consider your options in life. Let’s just focus on the material for now. Where do you want to live? What kind of house? What kind of car do you want to drive? What kind of retirement do you desire? What kind of life do you want to provide to your children?

Every option is attainable if you are willing to “pay the price.” This means considering the time, effort and finances involved. Remove the word “can’t” from your vocabulary because it is really only a matter of your willingness to pay the price. Don’t settle for whatever comes your way. Instead, exercise your freedom and pay the price!

Where did all the contractors go? It seems that years of pushing kids to go to college instead of learning a trade has caused a shortage in the number of qualified construction workers. Unfortunately, the non-college bound kids have been given the wrong impression about the trades and don’t always know how much money they are missing out on! Hopefully, programs like this one can turn around the stigma and help get more workers out into the marketplace.

Check out these Revolution-era homes for sale. We don’t have anything this old in Colorado! You can’t just “flip” houses like these, you “restore” and “preserve” instead, which is more expensive and time consuming. This is a good time to remind you house flippers to always check to see if the house you want to purchase has a historic designation.

See you soon,
